2011: Design Squad Nation, winner of the 2012 Emmy Award for Outstanding New Approaches in a Daytime Children Series, is a 10-part series of TV shows and video blogs that build on the success of the award-winning PBS reality competition series Design Squad to get kids excited about engineering. As Coordinating Producer, Rossi played a key role in the development of the series and served as point person in establishing and maintaining partnerships with national and international clients. He also spearheaded production of multi-camera shoots, supported the needs of the engineering team, and helped create a tapeless workflow for the series. Filming took Rossi to locations across the US including New York, Oakland, Miami, and the White Mountain Apache Reservation in Arizona, as well as internationally to Cusmapa, Nicaragua and London, England.
